(Right at Home Hardware, first street on right Approx ¾ km)
Eligibility: U6, U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16. The format of the tournament is to promote judo for kids in a safe and fun environment and to do so, the competitors will be match with other competitors with the same belt division, same year of birth and weight class as much as possible. All competitors must be member of their provincial association.
REGISTRATIONS Coach honor system will be used. Coaches, please send info to Daniel Ouellet: senseidanju@yahoo.fr , by Friday, February 16th at 5 pm.
Checkins on the morning of the tournament between 7h00 and 9h00 AM. Athletes will have to step on the scale to confirm their weight.
Canteen on the site. The competition will start at 10h00.
Registration fee: $ 40. $10 extra to fight in two divisions.
Tournament: Fights that involve a white belt and U6 and U8 – ne waza (ground)
Colored belts, U10, U12, U14 and U16 – tachi waza (standing)
Tachi waza : 3 min of timed fight with regular points system
- No grabbing around the neck or under the belt
- No drop on the knees and no sacrifice technique.
Ne waza (Modified rules): 2 min of actual fight
- Need 3 ippon (30 points) to win or most points after time is over.
- No grabbing the neck.
- Turn over are 5 point.

Éligibilité: U6, U8, U10, U12, U14 et U16. Le format du tournoi a pour but de promouvoir le judo pour les enfants dans un environnement sécuritaire et amusant. Pour ce faire, les compétiteurs vont être regroupés par couleur de ceinture, année de naissance et catégorie de poids dans la mesure du possible. Tous les compétiteurs doivent être membre de leur association provincial.
Compétition : Ceintures blanches toutes les catégories et U6 et U8 – Ne waza (Sol)
Ceinture de couleur Tachi waza (debout) U10, U12, U14et U 16.
Tachi waza :
- 3 minutes de combat chronométré avec système de pointage régulier
- Ne pas encercler le cou et ne pas attraper sous la ceinture
- Pas de mouvements à genou ou de mouvement sacrifice
Ne waza (règlements modifiés) :
- 2 minutes de combat continu
- 30 points cumulatifs pour gagner ou plus de points après le temps règlementaire
- Ne pas encercler ou attraper le cou
- Les renversements comptent pour 5 points.
INSCRIPTION : L’inscription des enfants sera effectuée avec le système d’honneur. Les directeurs techniques des clubs fourniront par courriel le nom, l’année de naissance, le sexe, le poids en kilos, la ceinture et le club à Daniel Ouellet par courriel à : senseidanju@yahoo.fr , avant vendredi le 16 février à 17h00. Les athlètes doivent se présenter le matin du tournoi entre 7h00 et 9h00 pour payer les frais d’inscription et se peser pour confirmer leur poids.
-Une cantine sur place. Le tournoi débutera à 10h00.
Frais d’inscription: $ 40. $10 de plus pour une deuxième division
